The Internal Southern National Dialogue Team, headed by the deputy head of the team, Abdul Salam Qassem Massad, met today, Wednesday, October 12, in the capital, Aden, with the National Forum for the Sons of the South in Abyan Governorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, the internal Southern National Dialogue team welcomed the brothers in the National Forum for the Sons of the South in Abyan Governorate headed by Dr. Saleh Haidara Mohsen, praising the honorable struggle positions of the people of Abyan Governorate since the start of the Southern Movement and the resistance of the second invasion of the south, which the forces of influence in Sana’a sought to strike at these positions and roles through Transforming Abyan governorate into an arena for conflicts and fighting, destroying its vital and service facilities, and harming the interests of its people as a collective punishment for them.

The team stressed the efforts of the Southern National Dialogue to establish future visions that contribute to changing this reality in the south into a more secure and stable reality by creating a true southern partnership in political decision-making that is based on a solid base whose principles are formulated in the Southern National Pact, as an important Southern reference in the present and the future.

For their part, the brothers in the National Forum for the Sons of the South in Abyan Governorate stressed the importance of the Southern National Dialogue, which counts for the Southern Transitional Council and President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, stressing the need for the dialogue to be based on a comprehensive vision through which many of the current imbalances are addressed, and to expedite practical steps for the success of Dialogue and its implementation on the ground.

They added that they are in the forum with the Southern Dialogue as a national culture, civilized behavior and human value, and they are with the principle of consensus, agreement and national partnership to complete the southern transitional phase with the various southern political components involved in the dialogue and in a way that leads to achieving the aspirations of the people of the South in restoring their independent national state and building their new southern federal state.
