In an intervention with Al-Ghad Al-Mashriq channel regarding the opening of roads in Al-Dhalea governorate, Lt. Col. Muhammad Al-Naqeeb, the official spokesman for the Southern Armed Forces, confirmed that the armed forces have a relationship with opening the road, not closing it, and it has not been closed since the beginning of the war. The closure was by the Houthi militias who mined the road and blew up bridges and crossings  Its snipers were on the roadsides until they were closed, and this initiative is the third of its kind, as we heard from the governor of Al-Dhalea.

 The captain explained that the opening of the roads came in implementation of the directives of President Commander Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, and this is a new confirmation to the inside and outside, the region and the world that we are dealing positively with every effort to open the crossings and ensure the flow of fuel, food and medicine for humanitarian reasons.

    The captain said: Since the beginning of the war, we have taken this approach because our southern armed forces are armed forces that adhere to the internationally recognized rules of engagement and with regard to international humanitarian law and human rights, and the initiative came in accordance with the directives of President Commander Aidarous al-Zubaidi.

 The captain concluded: The ball is in the court of the Houthi militias, as well as in the court of the international parties seeking to establish peace and alleviate the suffering of the citizen, and they must stress or exert pressure to the maximum degree, not only to open the crossings, but also to commit to implementing the matrix of the current international initiative, on top of which is the ceasefire and the opening of the crossings.  .
