On Sunday, August 7, the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held a meeting at the headquarters of the Secretariat in the capital, Aden, that included heads and representatives of the General Secretariat departments with the Southern National Dialogue team abroad .

Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, member of the Presidency of the Council, gave a speech at its outset welcoming the Southern National Dialogue Team abroad, which includes Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Haj, Vice President of the Southern National Dialogue Team and the rest of the members of the Dialogue Team, He expressed his appreciation for the team's interest in holding this meeting to closely review the activities of the General Secretariat departments and the role they play, and to discuss ways of cooperation and coordination between the General Secretariat departments and the Southern Dialogue Team, appreciating the efforts made by the Dialogue Team abroad to achieve consensus and unify the southern ranks.

During the meeting, a brief explanation was given about the departments of the General Secretariat and their divisions and  the activities which undertake within the framework of its specializations in accordance with the directions and plans of the Southern Transitional Council, according to the responsibility entrusted to it as the bearer of the cause of the people of the south . The attendees emphasized on the keenness of the General Secretariat and its cadres to ensure the success of the tasks of the Southern National Dialogue Team, emphasizing to work in the spirit of one team to achieve everything that is in the interest of the south, its cause and its people.

For their part, the Southern National Dialogue team abroad and its members expressed their happiness with this meeting, presenting an overview of the Southern Dialogue externally, the stages it went through and the procedures related to encouraging the southern political components to actively engage in this dialogue to consolidate the foundations of the cause of the people of the south to be crowned with the signing of a charter of honor that crowns efforts national in this context.

The meeting reviewed the course of the Southern National Dialogue in according to the directives of the  President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, and the successes achieved, the results and directions of work,  He also discussed the role that the General Secretariat and its departments can play in supporting the mission of the Southern National Dialogue Team and supporting the team's course  within the framework of the departments' specialization plans to achieve the desired hopes and aspirations of the people of the south.
