On Tuesday, Studies and Research Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its third consultative meeting for the studies and research centers in the southern governorates with the slogan "The Effectiveness of Studies and Research Centers in Drawing Reality Strategy - Visions on Recent Developments".

 Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, a member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, and Deputy Secretary-General, started the meeting with a speech in which he emphasized the importance of the role of studies and research centers in supporting the requirements of the stage and supporting the decision-maker, through research that touches the reality to create the future that the people of the south aspire to.

 During his speech, Al-Jaadi expressed his great satisfaction with this meeting, which will strengthen the relationship between the Studies and Research Department of the General Secretariat and research centers in the south to establish traditions of the scientific research and consultancy, in accordance with the accepted methods and principles of research and study.

 For her part, Ms. Maryam Al-Afif, Deputy Head of  Studies and Research Department, pointed out in her speech the need to work as a team by studying the events and presenting joint research, urging the use of studies and turning them into work programs, and providing solutions to issues, to achieve stability in the society .

 The meeting has discussed the mechanisms of working with the outcomes of the previous meeting with the heads of the centers, and the establishing of  a joint work mechanism that includes  involving them in the implementation of the upcoming activities of the department.

 The attendees affirmed their complete readiness to move forward to serve the southern homeland, noting the importance of establishing a southern union that includes all southern studies and research centers .
