On Wednesday, August 17, in his office in the capital, Aden, President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, met with Mr. Muhammad Al-Ghaithi, Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, and his deputies, Dr. Abdul-Malik Al-Mikhlafi, Sakhr Al-Wajeeh, Jamila Ali Raja, and Judge Akram Al-Amiri.

The meeting has discussed the commission's work program and the tasks entrusted to it by the presidential leadership council, and ways and mechanisms to activate the commission's role in promoting national consensus and mobilizing energies to consolidate joint action at all levels.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi renewed his support for the Consultation Committee, emphasizing the pivotal role of the Authority in supporting the efforts of the leadership of the Presidential Council and in mobilizing all efforts to confront the Houthi militias, and win for the Arab project.

For his part, the Chairman of the Reconciliation and Consultation Commission and his deputies expressed their support for the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and its orientation that aimed at correcting imbalances in the state institutions, reviving the economy, and achieving peace.
