President Idaroos Qasim al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Command Council, met in his office on Wednesday, August 17, the Director General of Al-Wadi'ah land port Mutlaq Al-Saari.
President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the efforts of the port management in facilitating the entry and exit of passengers and the flow of humanitarian aid provided by international relief organizations to our country, and the difficulties faced by the port management in the security aspect.
The President emphasized the importance of assigning the protection of the port to a trained and highly efficient national security force, to secure it and end security imbalances in it, because it's a vital strategic corridor directly linked to the lives of citizens.
President Al-Zubaidi emphasized the need to improve the mechanisms of administrative work at Al-Wadi'ah land port and other land ports, and provide them with qualified administrative competencies, and modern equipment to contribute to accelerating the pace of work in them to eliminate cases of congestion and overcrowding at rush hours .
For his part, the General Director of Al-Wadi'ah land port expressed his thanks and appreciation for the great efforts made by President Al-Zubaidi and the Presidential leadership Council in order to secure and develop land and sea ports in our country and extend state control over them to enhance revenues, facilitate transport, and accelerate the entry of relief aid to citizens in liberated areas.
Al-Sayari renewed the position of the people of the Valley and Desert regions of Hadhramaut in supporting all the efforts made by the Presidential Leadership Council in securing the areas of the Valley and Desert of Hadhramaut, and enabling its people to manage and secure their governorate .
