President Commander Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, and Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met in his office, at the Council's headquarters in the capital Aden, on Sunday with Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Parity government, Salem Mohammed Al-Wali.

The President was briefed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, on the ministry's efforts to enhance food security in the light of the escalating developments, which the world food market is witness as a result of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi was also briefed on the results of the visit of the Ministry of Industry and Trade team to the State of India and its discussions with the Indian side to complete the exceptional measures approved by the Indian government, including lifting the ban on the export of Indian wheat to our country, and ways to ensure its completion as soon as possible.

The President stressed the importance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade carrying out its entrusted tasks, first, the markets supervising of goods and services, controlling quality, preventing exploitation, monopoly and manipulating prices, in order to ensure the stability of the supply situation, in addition to its role in providing ideas and visions for the development of the economic sector, and enhancing investment opportunities, which contribute to creating job opportunities for thousands of young people and graduates .
