The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting on Saturday, August 27, chaired by President Commander Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by a number of ministers of the Council in the Parity government and the head of the Political Bureau of the Revolutionary Movement Council Fadi Baoum, President Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi welcomed the head of the Political Bureau of the Revolutionary Movement Council, who arrived in the capital Aden last week, stressing the continuation of efforts aimed at enhance South nationalization, and Strengthen the principles of reconciliation and tolerance, and coordinate joint work with the various powers of the south to restore its state.
For his part, the head of the Political Bureau of the Revolutionary Movement Council expressed his thanks and gratitude to President Al-Zubaidi for his tireless efforts to unify the ranks and reunite and strengthen cohesion and the southern social fabric.
In a separate context, the Presidency then stood in front of the suspicious military movements of some forces that implement the agendas of the Brotherhood and Houthi militias in Al-Mahra Governorate, most notably the mobilization of armed groups in some directorates of the governorate and trying to settle them under the cover of displacement, and smuggling weapons to them to provoke chaos and concern public tranquility of citizens. In this regard, The Presidency reiterated its refusal to assign any military or security tasks to elements from outside the governorate, stressing its support to enable the people of Al-Mahra to manage their governorate security and militarily.
In its meeting, the Presidency also stood in front of the latest developments in the Operation of Arrows of the East, which was launched under the directives of President Commander Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Transitional Council and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, to purify Abyan Governorate of terrorist elements, and the subsequent security deployment carried out by the security forces in the governorate backed by the forces of Abyan axis over the past three days, praising the great success achieved by the operation and the cooperation and great efforts made by the leadership of the forces participating in the operation, led by Abyan Security Director Colonel Abu Mishaal Al-Kazmi and Colonel Abdul-Qader Al-Jaari, Abyan sheikhs and denominations and social figures in the governorate .
The meeting has reviewed the latest developments in Shabwa Governorate, where the Presidency has praised the efforts to normalize life led by the governor of the governorate, Sheikh Awad bin Wazir Al-Awlaki, and warned of the continuation of the mobilization process carried out by Brotherhood militias rebelling against legitimacy in Camp Areen next to the Al-Aqla oil area.
