President Commander Aidarous Qasim al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, chaired on Monday, August 29, a meeting of the Southern Transitional Council Committee for Relief and Humanitarian Works .

The President was briefed at the meeting by the members of the committee on the humanitarian initiatives implemented by the committee during the past period to relief the families of the martyrs, and the plans and programs that the committee will work on to enhance relief and humanitarian work in the coming period .

During the meeting, the President Commander directed the Relief Committee and the Martyrs' Department to complete the arrangements for the distribution of food baskets and integrated school bags to the families of the martyrs urgently, stressing the need to deliver aid to each martyr's family, and to give the families of the martyrs full attention and care in recognition of the great sacrifices made by their for the sake of the south and its national cause .
