President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice-President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met in his office in the capital Aden yesterday evening, on Sunday, September 4, the head of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Captain Saleh Salim bin Nahead in the capital, Aden.

 During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by Captain Bin Nahead about the conditions of the Civil Aviation Authority and airports in the liberated areas and the stages that the authority has gone through since the decision to transfer and establish it in the capital, Aden, and to rehabilitate and operate all airports and its readiness to serve citizens in all governorates, in addition to the projects that have been completed, and It was recently opened, and it is scheduled to be implemented in the coming period.

 President Al-Zubaidi praised what has been accomplished by the authority’s leadership, and its continuous endeavor to improve air transport services in the country, stressing the need to continue efforts in equipping all airports and upgrading their services in line with the movement of increased demand for air traffic in our country and the region.

 For his part, Captain Bin Nahead affirmed the continuous and tireless endeavor to introduce new airlines to various destinations and the facilities provided in this aspect to activate the economic and development movement in the country, praising the continued keenness of President Al-Zubaidi, and the great role of the Ministry of Transport in supporting the authority’s efforts during the current stage to achieve its goals and implement its plans.  .

 The meeting was attended by Eng. Mohamed Nasher, Undersecretary of the General Authority of Aviation, and Eng. Yahya Al Kaf, Director General of Technical Planning and Projects at the Authority.
