Today, on Wednesday, September 7, the Supreme Economic Committee of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting for the month of September, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Muhammad Ali Matash, Chairman of the Committee.

At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees stood for a minute of mourning, during which they read Al-Fatihah for the soul of the martyr Brigadier General Hadar Al-Shahti and the souls of the martyrs of the heroic Security Belt Forces in Abyan Governorate, they also praised the victories that has achieved in Shabwa and Abyen governorates led by President Aidarous Qassem Al -Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces and Security, Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council.

Then participating in the meeting were briefed on the report submitted by the Chairman of the Committee on its activities between the two meetings, urging them to exert more effort in these delicate circumstances that we are going through, calling on everyone to submit studies and visions to mobilize revenues to the treasury of the Central Bank in the capital, Aden, and its branches with an emphasis on continuing to eradicate corruption related to corporate institutions in particular.

The meeting has stood before the causes leading to the rise in oil derivatives, as the Economic Committee presented to the responsible authorities a number of solutions that will contribute to reducing the prices of oil derivatives.

 The meeting also has discussed the reports submitted by the sub-committees, including the report submitted on the date factory project in Hadhramout Governorate, in addition to reports related to going to the water fields in Bir Ahmed and Aden International Airport.
