Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Thursday, September 8, with Sheikh Azzan Al-Janhi, Vice President of the Southern Accord Authority.

During the meeting, Major General Bin Brik was briefed on the authority's voluntary activity in converging viewpoints and reforming relations, as well as strengthening cohesion and preserving the social fabric, and its benevolent endeavors to strengthen the ranks unity in order to reach the desired goal in restoring the southern state.

The meeting has valued the positive role of the national military and security understandings of all the southern armed, military and security forces that took place in Abyan governorate, which had an effective contribution to the success of " Arrows of the East" operation to eradicate the scourge of terrorism.

The meeting has stressed the importance of strengthening southern national cohesion and convergence of views to unite and preserve all the gains made under the leadership of the Transitional Council in order to restore the state of the south with full sovereignty.

During the meeting, Major General Bin Brik praised the role of the Accord Authority and its contribution to achieving rapprochement between all components and southern parties during the last period, urging them to expand to the rest of the southern governorates to include social consensus.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Rashid Abdullah Al-Amoudi, head of the advisory department at the authority, Mohsen Abdulrab Ali, deputy head of the advisory department, Brigadier Saleh Nasser Al-Nakhbi, and Khaled Abdel Nasser Muhammad Saad, the financial official in the authority.
