The Presidency of the Transitional Council approves the amended statute of the Council and reviews the results of the internal national dialogue team work

On  Saturday, September 10, the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting, headed by President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President  of the Council .
The meeting, which was attended by the Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, and a number of council ministers in the parity government, and the committee for restructuring the council and updating the regulations of its bodies, has reviewed the draft submitted by the restructuring committee, regarding amending the statute of the council, which is the highest organizational document in The Council, and has approved it after discussing it and absorbing the observations made by the members of the Presidency of the Council.
 In a separate context, the Presidency listened to in its meeting a briefing by the head of the internal southern national dialogue team on the team’s activity, and the results of the meetings were held by the team with the components, national forces and southern political and social figures at home and abroad, praising the team’s important achievements in this aspect. Emphasizing the need to continue the dialogue with the union and professional Components, and societal segments, and to listen to their views and observations, to benefit from them in the dialogue with the various national forces.
The meeting has praised the positive interaction of southern forces, components and personalities, with President Al-Zubaidi's call for dialogue, stressing that this reflects the national responsibility undertaken by those components, forces and southern national figures, and their keenness to strengthen national cohesion, and uphold the higher interest of the south.
In its meeting, the Presidency also reviewed the most prominent political and military developments in the governorates of Abyan, Shabwa, Hadhramout Valley and Al-Mahra. And it expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack that targeted the security belt forces in Ahwar district in Abyan governorate last week, and saluted in the context the heroism of the security belt forces in Abyan in their response to the terrorist elements that attacked the security checkpoints and their elimination .
At the end of its meeting, the Presidency reiterated its praise of the mass movement in Hadhramout Valley and Al-Mahra regions, and the demands to enable the people of those areas to administer their areas security and militarily, and at the same time warned from the repression of peaceful demonstrations, stressing its support for the people of the Valley and Al-Mahra areas in their efforts to extract their legitimate rights.
