President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Thursday, September 15, with representatives of Al-Imam and Al-Hazmi Real Estate and Tourism Development companies in the Republics of Egypt and Cyprus.
During the meeting, they discussed possible ways to advance the tourism sector in the capital, Aden and the liberated governorates, and the investment opportunities available in this sector. President Al-Zubaidi heard from representatives of the two companies a set of opinions and proposals to reactivate the tourism activity, by rehabilitating some tourist facilities that were destroyed as a result of the 2015 war, and providing an attractive climate for international hotel companies to work again in the capital, Aden.
During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi reiterated the Presidential Leadership Council's openness to anyone who would contribute to supporting the national economy in all fields, foremost of which is the resumption of tourism activity, which was frozen as a result of the war, and the council's readiness to provide all aspects of support and provide the necessary facilities for tourism investment companies and real estate development, to raise the efficiency of the infrastructure of this sector, and reactivate its role as an important contributor to the national economy.
President Al-Zubaidi indicated that the Arab Republic of Egypt is one of the leading countries in the field of tourism promotion and activation, stressing his confidence that Egyptian expertise will play an important role in revitalizing this important sector in our country, as it is the fastest way to bring about recovery and raise growth rates.
For their part, Ziad Tariq and Muhammad Mohsen, representatives of Al-Imam and Al-Hazmi Real Estate and Tourism Development, expressed their thanks and appreciation to President Al-Zubaidi for the warm welcome they received, stressing the readiness of their companies to establish close cooperation relations with the relevant authorities in our country, to revitalize the tourism sector and make a qualitative leap in it, for the benefit of both sides.
