On Thursday, September 15, the Southern Transitional Council Decision-Making Support Center held its periodic monitoring meeting for the first half of September, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Khaled Bamedhaf, head of the Center, to stand before a number of developments on the southern national arena .
The meeting has focused on issues of the military and security scene in the governorates of Abyan, Shabwa, Hadhramout and Al-Mahra, where it has stressed the importance of giving the popular depth in southern societies attention, organization, mobilization and mass action in order to support the southern armed forces, as it is the bond and expressive of the will of the people.
The meeting has called for strengthening the defense and security capabilities of land and sea borders and at the ports from which the forces of terrorism and all means of destruction that flow into the southern interior, as well as raising the security and precautionary vigilance of the southern armed forces and security to prevent penetrations and infiltration of terrorist groups, and giving special attention to developing the security services and providing them with a qualified cadre in order to perform its duties professionally and to the fullest.
The meeting has also touched on the need to keep pace with developments in the media to meet the challenges of the media war and to restart and activate southern media facilities.
During the meeting, the attendees presented a number of interventions in the same context in preparation for submitting them as recommendations to the southern political leadership.
