President Al-Zubaidi is briefed on the work progress of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance

President Commander Aidarous  Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice- President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met in his office at the council's headquarters in the capital, Aden, today, Tuesday, 20 September, with the Minister of Endowments and Guidance in the Parity Government, Sheikh Muhammad Idah Shabiba  .
During the meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance for Hajj and Umrah Sector, Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rabbash, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the work  progress in the ministry, the efforts made by the ministry's leadership to find a permanent headquarters in the capital, Aden, and the most prominent difficulties it faces in this aspect.
President Al-Zubaidi also heard from Minister Shabiba and Undersecretary Al-Rabbash, a brief explanation of the activity of Hajj and Umrah sector, the efforts made by the ministry and the sector during the Hajj season, the level of services and facilities provided to pilgrims, and the arrangements made by the ministry in preparation for the upcoming Hajj season.
The meeting  has touched on a number of other issues that are related to the work and activity of the ministry, foremost of which is the encroachment on real estate of the endowment lands, and ways to restore and protect them.
The President Commander praised the ministry’s leadership’s keenness to carry out its work from the capital, Aden, stressing the support of the Leadership Council to lead to the advancement of the ministry’s work and the restoration of all lands and properties endowed, in the forefront of which is the obligation of government departments to pay the rents owed on them in favor of the endowments.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of updating the mechanisms for granting licenses and accreditations to Hajj and Umrah agencies, in accordance with legal frameworks, and fair ratios among all governorates.
President Al-Zubaidi also stressed the need for the ministry to assume its role and responsibility in controlling religious discourse in mosques, and to prevent any inflammatory sermons that contradict the teachings of our true Islamic religion and its straight, moderate approach.
For their part, Minister Shabiba and Undersecretary Al-Rabbash expressed their thanks and appreciation for the support provided by President Al-Zubaidi to the leadership of the ministry, and his keenness to overcome all difficulties facing its work, and to remove all obstacles that face it  to carry out its activities in the capital, Aden.
