At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Ben Brik reviewed the general situation in the south in all aspects, the most important of which is the political and military side, and the role was played by the Southern Transitional Council in this regard, in parallel with the military operations carried out by our valiant southern forces in defeating terrorist organizations, through the two operations (Arrows of the East). At the meeting, the administrative body saluted the victories of the southern forces during Arrows of the East and Arrows of the South operations in the governorates of Abyan and Shabwa, it also saluted the role of the members of the National Assembly in creating an incubator for the southern forces in those areas, which helped to achieve victory, praising the souls of the martyrs and calling for a speedy recovery for the wounded, stressing the need to preserve these victories and huge sacrifices by securing these areas so that terrorism does not return to them again. In its meeting, the Administrative Board has supported the truce proposed by the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and stressed the need for a clear position for the Southern Transitional Council, provided that the truce is essentially linked to the extent to which it provides the ingredients for peace in the south and the participation of the Southern Transitional Council in the negotiation process, as well as activating the revenues and supplying them to the The central bank in Aden and distributed according to priorities, provided that the civil and military dues of the southerners, which were suspended years ago, are paid.
The meeting also has stressed the support of all the governorates of the south and the districts of the coast of Hadhramout governorate for the popular movement in Hadhramout Valley and Al-Mahra.
The administrative body has stood before the educational situation, both basic and university, and what it suffers from, and recommended the formation of a committee to assess the situation and provide a vision of solutions and treatments.
The administrative body also has praised the role of the dialogue and structuring committees, and demanded the need to reformulate the political functions of the National Assembly and updated documents.
At the end of the meeting, in which Major General Saleh Ali Hassan, head of joint operations in the Southern Transitional Council, participated, he reviewed the role of military operations in Abyan governorate, their level of success and the stages of their implementation, stressing the continued presence of forces in the liberated areas to protect them.
