Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met today, September 28, with Colonel Nabil Shaleel, former head of operations for the 115th Brigade, and Lieutenant-Colonel Adel Muhammad Al-Awsji, Acting Director of Security of Lauder Directorate, Abyan Governorate, and the meeting has discussed a number of service and security issues that concern Lauder Directorate.

During the meeting, Major General Bin Brik was briefed on the level of services in Lauder Directorate, the needs of the service and security aspect, ways to improve them, and other issues related to the lives of citizens, especially after the success of Arrow of the East and Arrow of the South operations to cleanse the southern governorates of terrorism.

The President of the National Assembly stressed the importance of consolidating the pillars of security and stability, and strengthening cooperation and joint coordination between the leaders of the local authority, the security services, the executive bodies of the Transitional Council and all the personalities and dignitaries in Abyan governorate in order to integrate efforts and work as a team to serve the citizens in the governorate in general and Lauder Directorate in particular and to enhance the national cohesion.
