On Wednesday, September 28, at the Faculty of Languages at the University of Aden, the Internal Southern National Dialogue Team, headed by Professor Abdul Salam Qassem, Vice head of the Team, met with the leaders and southern youth elites.
At the beginning of the meeting, which came under the slogan “The South with all and for all its children” and in the presence of the leadership of the Youth and Students Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Mr. Abdul Salam Qassem gave a speech in which he stressed that the youth are the hope and future of this country, as our southern people are betting on them to get the country out from what it is.
Qassem pointed out that young people possess great energy that enables them to change reality and achieve all the goals that our people agree upon on the road to restoring the southern state that accommodates all its sons, adding that the dialogue came in order to create new conditions for young people far from the past that previous generations suffered from.
In turn, Mr. Abdul Karim Ahmed Saeed, a member of the internal Southern National Dialogue team, spoke in a speech in which he said that the dialogue is a civilized behavior of high human value, and constitutes an intellectual window for communication between all to create understandings and a southern national consensus to resolve all disputes by peaceful means, away from violence and internal wars that destroy homelands and exhausted Peoples .
Pointing to the importance of leaving the painful past squares and closing all its files, and seriously thinking about the future, future generations, and the role of youth in it, to create a better and more beautiful tomorrow, with all the sons of the country participating in building it, in order to reach the goal that our people seek on the road to restoring the southern state with a new federal system in which justice, equality, order, law, security and stability are prevailed .
For his part, Professor Al-Kuraihi Kanaan, Deputy Head of the Youth and Students Department in the General Secretariat, gave a speech in which he stressed that the doors of the Southern Transitional Council are open to all, noting that the Youth Department will work to be a link between the dialogue team and the southern youth in order to solve all the problems the Youth are suffer from.
The team has listened to many interventions made by southern youth leaders who emphasized the importance of empowering young people during the next stage and giving them the opportunity to represent the south properly.
