The Presidency of the Transitional Council warns of attempts to obstruct the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting, on Saturday, October 8, headed by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Acting in charge of the President of the Council, Chairman of the National Assembly.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by a number of council ministers in the Parity government, the Presidency reviewed the latest developments in the southern governorates, stressing its condemnation of the Houthi attacks on Yafa'a front, which resulted in the martyrdom and wounding of a number of the southern armed forces heroes .
In the context of its review of the developments, it warned of the attempts of the Brotherhood's Islah Parity, and other parties in the legitimacy, to abort the Riyadh Agreement and obstruct the implementation of its provisions, calling in this regard to the leadership of the Arab coalition and the sponsors of the agreement, to compel the other parity and pressure it to complete the implementation of the terms of the agreement, foremost of which is the removal of the military forces From the southern governorates, and transferred to the frontlines of confrontation with the Houthi militia.
In another context, the authority also warned of the delay of the prime minister of the parity government, and the failure of his government to fulfill its promises to provide the requirements for operating electricity in the capital, Aden, stressing the speed of providing these requirements, unless the options will remain open to the council and the people of the south.
At the end of the meeting, the authority stood before a number of issues on its agenda and took appropriate measures in their regard.
