On Saturday, October 8, the Internal Southern National Dialogue Team, headed by Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Haj, inaugurated in the city of Ataq, holding its meetings with the southern political elites in Shabwa governorate.

In the presence of Shabwa transitional council, Brigadier General Ali Ahmed al-Jabwani, the internal Southern National Dialogue team met leaders and cadres of a number of components, parties and southern political figures from the governorate.

In the meeting, Dr. Al-Hajj gave a speech in which he welcomed all the participants in the meeting from the components, parties and personalities from the people of the governorate, explaining that the team’s arrival in Shabwa governorate comes within a series of dialogues that the team is conducting in the southern governorates with the components, parties and southern political forces with the aim of drawing a southern road map under The ceiling of the southern national constants.

Dr. Al-Hajj pointed out that the team will meet the political and social forces and personalities in the governorate, and listen to everyone with open arms, wishing everyone interact with the team to come up with a single vision that serves the cause of the people of the south.

Dr. Al-Hajj stressed the strategic importance occupied by Shabwa governorate throughout history and the great civilizational and human heritage it holds, resources, wealth and human stock, adding that this importance made it the object of the ambitions of the occupation forces that worked to destroy the governorate and create problems and crises in it, which led to catastrophic results on the social fabric in the governorate.

The head of the dialogue team congratulated the great southern victories that were achieved in Shabwa during the current year, praising the efforts of the local authority leadership in the governorate represented by the governor of the governorate, brother Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir, and the leadership of the transitional governorate headed by Brigadier General Ali Ahmed Al-Jabwani, wishing to achieve more successes and development that meet the wishes of the people of the governorate. .

For his part, the transitional head of Shabwa, Brigadier General Ali Ahmed al-Jabwani, welcomed the Southern Dialogue team, expressing his satisfaction with the presence of a group of different political components and their participation in a serious national dialogue that brings together and does not divide.

Al-Jabwani pointed out the great importance that Shabwa governorate occupies in the map of the homeland as the pulse of the south, because of its geo-strategic importance, which made it exposed, after the unjust war of 1994, to various types of sedition and conspiracies by the occupation regime, the most important of which is the sedition of tribal revenge, which claimed the lives of thousands of people, including political, military and administrative cadres.

Brigadier General Al-Jabwani stressed the importance of the Southern Dialogue, especially at this sensitive stage in the march of the people of the South, considering that dialogue is a civilized human characteristic to address all impurities and differences, wishing success for the Dialogue Team in its noble national tasks, as it would find a comprehensive southern consensus in the interest of the people of the South and his national cause.
