Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Monday, August 15, with number of leaders of civil society organizations in Al-Dis Al-Sharqiah in Hadramawt Governorate.

They discussed the work of civil society organizations and their active role in developing and improving Citizens' conditions,  and advancing development in the country through the establishment of meaningful and important projects.

In the meeting, In the meeting, Major General Ben Brik received a memorial shield from the local authority and the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, presented by Awad Salem Al-Ameri, President of the Thuban Center, for his lofty efforts and good offices that aimed at alleviating the suffering of citizens, as generators were provided to the power plant in Al-Dis Al-Sharqiah .

Major General Ahmed Saeed expressed his thanks to the two leaders for granting him this memorial shield, praising all efforts being made to establish security and stability in the Directorate, emphasizing that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council along with its people in prosperity and distress, and that the next phase of political work needs some political acumen and patience, to achieve victory and clean our lands of invaders .

The meeting was attended by Hussein Fadel Al-Saadi, member of the National Assembly and number of members of the Center Fahad Saleh bin Rabaid, Abdullah Saleh Al Mansouri, Saeed Faraj Amiran, and activist Rashid Ali Al-Kasadi.
